Bucket list.

I’m a just a bit morbid naturally…maybe it comes from seeing death on a not infrequent basis. I’m not super afraid of death nor am I pathologically eager for it. The times I do think about death it’s usually with hope for the future with a healthy dose of trepidation in coming face to face with God. That said, I do on occasion imagine my funeral…I totally want it to be a big party. Preferably with dancing and live music. Especially if I die young. And absolutely no open casket. See…kind of morbid.

Anyway, this leads to my bucket list...you know, things I want to do before I die. A simple list for a simple girl. In no particular order...

1. Run a half marathon. See, not even a full marathon. Setting the bar low.
2. Actually learn to play the guitar well.
3. Ride the Orient Express.
4. Take photography classes and learn to take beautiful photos.
5. Be in a flash mob.
6. Have a heart-pounding, breathless, head-spinning, epic romance.
7. Find a red wine I actually like.
8. Write a young adult book...even if it's just for myself. I may let Anna and Chaeli read it too.
9. Travel to India.
10. Train and work with a pet therapy dog.

Pretty short list so far...a work in progress, much like the rest of me.
