Anna enjoyed her campus visit, I think. The people are really nice and love Jesus. They also did not understand Anna's sense of humor, which we both found pretty amusing. One thing that's really interesting about the seminary is that the campus buildings are older houses...actually from the first gated community in the United States. Also, Fuller is Calvinist/Reformed in theology, whereas Asbury, where Anna is currently studying for her Masters of Divinity, has a Wesleyan standpoint. (For my blog readers who are not Christian, these are two of many schools of thought within the Christian church.) So she will be thinking about that as she tries to figure out where she wants to study.

We also did a little bit of exploring in Pasadena. There's crazy money there...and tons of shops. Actually kind of reminded me of the rich part of Dallas. I did see a store that was especially for tall women, which was awesome.
Later on that night, Anna's friend Matt drove up from Loma Linda (where he now is a medical student; he and Anna are friends from seminary). We all went to dinner, and he and Anna got to catch up a bit. It was a lot of fun...I really like meeting Anna's friends, and Matt is especially nice and fun. We ended the night with coffee and hot chocolate at this fancy chocolate shop...seriously the best hot chocolate I've ever had.
Soon I will update y'all on yesterday's crazy adventure!
